Question by Erin: Do I need a different size in underwire vs. wireless?
I was measured at a 32C (at Victoria’s Secret) a few months ago and recently purchased a 32C t-shirt bra (underwire) from Gap. However, the fit didn’t seem quite right and I was like bulging over the top a bit. However, a 34C in the same style was too lose of a band size and 32D was definitely too big in the cups. I then tried a 32C wireless, also from Gap, and the fit seemed just about right.
Why would I be different in wireless vs. underwire? Is there a different size I could try in underwire to get the right fit? (I’m kind of confused and my mom is no help!)
(Also, I think when I tried on the underwire it was like the day before I got my period… the wireless was like the day after it ended. Could that possibly have anything to do with it?)

water retention, perhaps?
wireless bras tend to be a bit flimsy. they’ve got more give, and that also affords them to fit more snugly. if that makes more sense.
bras are often a pain like that. you just have to keep trying and trying until you find the perfect one.
